Renovation of an existing 80s style rancher located in Spokane’s prestigious Rockwood area. This neighborhood typically lacks available lots for new construction, so in this case, TLD worked within an existing footprint for the home.

Renovation aimed to accommodate large family gatherings with an open floor plan design. Modern transitional in style with emphasis on clean lines, fluid flow and warm palette. Existing custom designed furnishings and original artwork were incorporated seamlessly within the new plan configuration.

Materials include: rift-sawn white oak, lagos azul limestone, silver travertine and stainless steel tiles and hand-troweled concrete plaster fireplace.

The end result of this modern transitional design is a calming, natural light filled graciously open space to accommodate family and friends within a well-established neighborhood.
